On September 17, 2024, as part of Career Day, the renovated “Computer Systems and Architectures” laboratory at the “Communication and Security Equipment and Systems” department was officially opened. The hall is equipped with server and computer configurations and network equipment, provided free of charge by the State Enterprise “Air Traffic Control”.
The ribbon was cut by the rector of VTU, Prof. Daniela Todorova, the head of the “SOTS” department, Prof. Emilia Dimitrova, and Eng. Kalin Tiholov, an aircraft engineer at the State Enterprise “Air Traffic Control” and a graduate of our school. Eng. Tiholov accepted on behalf of the company a letter of appreciation and a certificate of donation, presented to him by the vice-rectors, Prof. Nikolay Georgiev and Prof. Krasimir Krastanov, and expressed the readiness of the State Enterprise “Air Traffic Control” to continue to help improve the professional training of our students in the future.
