Patent "Photovoltaic Module Tester"

Certificate with registration No. 4975 U1 (16.12.2024), issued by the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, for registration of a utility patent.

At the end of 2024. The Higher School of Transport “Todor Kableshkov” officially received a certificate with reg. No. 4975 U1, issued by the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, for the registration of a utility patent with the name of the patent “TESTER FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES”. The inventors are the lecturers from the Department of “Power Supply and Electrical Equipment of Transport” Assoc. Prof. Lyubomir Sekulov, Assoc. Prof. Martina Tomcheva, Senior Asst. Todor Lalev, Senior Asst. Martin Zlatkov, Senior Asst. Petko Kostadinov, Asst. Dilyana Mitseva, Asst. Irena Bozhichkova and PhD students Emil Dodov and Dimitar Konov.

New trademark DEFMOT

A new trademark DEFMOT, owned by the Higher Transport School “Todor Kableshkov”, was registered with the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria on 10.03.21.

The new opportunity was implemented under project No. 90-05-20 “Contribution of VTU to the analysis, modeling and optimization of multifactor simulation or experimental databases” headed by Prof. Nikolay Tonchev. In addition to the trademark, the result of this project was the testing of the DEFMOT moving constraints approach for applications to tasks from the specialization of our Higher School.

In 2021, the project continues with the main goals: publishing results from the project idea in the recognizable European scientific space; preparing samples and tests with equipment available to VTU “Todor Kableshkov” for application to the Scientific Research Fund; expanding the range of tasks and consultations in implementing the VTU DEFMOT method and creating new business partnerships.

Congratulations on another success of Prof. Nikolay Tonchev!

On 31.05. 2021, a UTILITY MODEL was registered in the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria with the name: “Inertial and navigational measurement system for assessing the condition of a railway network”.

The team of inventors includes representatives of the VTU Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emil Yonchev from the Department of “Communication and Security Equipment and Systems” and Dr. Eng. Emil Mihaylov.
