Electric Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment
Bachelor's degree
In the course of 8 semesters are thought fundamental, applied and specializing subjects as High Voltage Equipment, Electrical Networks and Systems, Electric Power Supply, Electrical Apparatus, Electric Power Stations, Electric Transport, etc. The training under the programme Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment is carried out by lecturers from the Department of Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment in Transport. Upon completion the bachelor programme, the students receive state diploma of higher education and a certificate for one of the qualifications: Head of Group for the Operation and Repair of Overhead Systems and Traction Substations, Driver of Electric Locomotives, Driver for Subway, Driver of Electric Public Transport /trams and trolleybuses/.
Master's degree
The program is designed for bachelor graduates in the same professional field. It has duration of three semesters and ends with defence of master thesis. The graduates may continue their studies in PhD program.
