On October 9, 2024, a graduation ceremony for the class of 2024, Bachelor’s degree, was held at VTU “Todor Kableshkov”. The beautiful autumn day brought together over 120 graduates, their teachers, relatives and friends in the “Yubileyna” hall. The honors students from the faculties and all graduates who completed their studies with excellent success had the honor of receiving their diplomas personally from the rector, Prof. D.Eng. (Econ.) Daniela Todorova.
The event traditionally began with a welcoming of the school’s flag, after which the graduates were congratulated by the rector of VTU, Prof. Dr. Daniela Todorova, Mr. Terry Li, General Manager of Huawei Technologies Bulgaria, Dr. Selcuk Duranlar from the Thracian University in Edirne, Turkey, Eng. Hristiyan Krastev – Manager of BDZ “Freight Transport”, Mr. Ivan Omayski – Chairman of the Club of Officers and Sergeants from the Reserve and Reserve of VMT and VTU, Prof. Eliza Stefanova – Chairman of the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation.
A speech of thanks on behalf of the graduates was delivered by the class valedictorian Veronika Bogdanova, who is also the valedictorian of the Faculty of Transport Management and the specialty of Transport Economics. As a reward for their efforts, all graduates who completed their studies with excellent results were presented with honorary statuettes “Excellent Student of VTU”. For the valedictorians of the faculties there were also special awards from Huawei Technologies, presented by Mr. Terry Li, General Manager for Bulgaria of the company.
After the end of the celebration, the academic leadership, together with the top and best students of the graduating class, planted a tree in the university courtyard that will grow and develop together with our graduates.
